Description
On January 8th, 1991 a fifteen year old sophomore by the name Jeremy Wade Delle walked into his second period English class and committed suicide. This was in front of 30 fellow students and his teacher Faye Barnett.
News coverage of this tragedy would get the attention of Eddie Vedder, lead singer and songwriter of then semi-unknown band Pearl Jam from Seattle working on their debut album. This incident would inspire their world famous hit song “Jeremy”. The room for English II was allegedly B201.
