Description
For many years, young residents have known that this part of Poland Woods is eerie. Scary things happen here, and even though you might use it as a shortcut on your way home from school, you don’t want to hang around. Everything from devil worshippers to crying babies, bad luck, or even just thugs lying in wait to rough you up—there’s never a shortage of stories about the haunted graffiti bridge in Poland, Ohio.
To get to the bridge, you have two options. It’s technically part of Poland Woods, so you can take the back way down the hill behind Baird Mitchell Football Field at Poland’s junior high/middle school. Or, you can access the trail from Poland Manor, a road in Poland Village. The address mentioned refers to the house next to the trail you can use to enter.
What’s left of the bridge sits above Yellow Creek, the main waterway running through Poland Woods.
